This course covers the theory and practical application of strip and hot wax, for the entire body, intimate waxing (Brazilians services) and pre and post client care.

WRBSS302B - Provide Temporary Epilation and Bleaching Treatments (waxing)

The waxing course covers theory and practical application of waxing with both strip and hot wax,
pre and post client care.

Products, workbooks and resource material are provided. 
Please bring your own model for practical work,  times will be advised.

WRBSS302B    Apply knowledge of skin biology to beauty treatments

Course outcomes

At the completion of this course the student will be issued with a Statement of Attainment, graduates will be able to enter the beauty industry as confident, competent professionals with the skills and knowledge to apply and remove depilatory waxes.

Course content:

WRRLP1B       Apply Safe working practices
WRBCS305A  Apply knowledge of skin biology to beauty treatments
Care of products and equipment
Make-up to suit the individual, traditional and fashionable
Make-up techniques for day and evening
Natural make-up for mature clients
Colour analysis, colour coding, seasons of change.
Different products for a variety of situations, colour mixing

Course outcomes

At the completion of this course the student will be issued with a Statement of Attainment
and will be able to confidently apply day, evening and wedding make-up.

Course content:

WRRLP1B        Apply safe working practices
WRBCS305A   Apply knowledge of skin biology to beauty treatments
WRBCS204A   Apply knowledge of nails science to nail services
Structure of nail and nail diseases
French manicure and pedicure
Professional deluxe manicure and pedicure techniques
Professional hand and foot massage techniques

Course outcomes

At the completion of this course the student will be issued with a Statement of Attainment
and will be able to confidently provide manicure and pedicure services.

Duration:       3 days from  9.00am - 5.00pm
