Academy Scope

Academy of Excellence is a Registered Training Organisation in Queensland, which meet the standards of the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) and to terms, conditions, and restrictions set in the Vocational Education, Training and Employment Act 2000.

Academy of Excellence offers the following courses:

Training is conducted on a full time basis, part-time and VET program to high school students.

Theory —  Students will receive the latest in learning manuals, these comprehensive manuals support the development of students in there elected course and provide reference data for the future of the student.  Theory lessons are conducted in our spacious lecture room, that includes library and reference materials.  Support materials that educators use are the latest that the industry has to offer.  Our educators focus on delivering interesting, interactive lessons that promote learning retention.  Weekly home work includes revision, projects and questions.

Practical and Delivery -  Our educators focus on practical skills taught step by step via demonstration.  Students will practice on fellow students at the completion of each theory lesson and paying clients on a weekly basis in our student clinic.  Our small class sizes (maximum of eight) provide excellence in supervision and tuition, ensuring the investment in your education exceeds your expectation.

Students are required to perform all the day to day,  skills and knowledge that is expected in an operational salon.  Students will achieve this with weekly hands on experience within the academy treatment rooms.  In addition students will perform treatments under supervision within the ExpressYourself salon.
